Saturday night, Bryce and I went to Playgroup Dinner. Harris has been in a playgroup for the past two years and about a year and a half ago we decided that the parents should get together without the boys once in a while. We get together once each season and it is always a lot of fun. To make it even better this time, the hostess ordered BBQ from North Carolina. Needless to say, Bryce and I were in heaven! After church on Sunday, we even went back for leftovers.
The rest of Sunday was devoted to trying to get some projects done. However, we got to enjoy a taste of fall as the air was dry and relatively cool. We also got to dog sit over the weekend. Grace and Harris were both excited to walk Victor, our neighbor's poodle. I hope everyone had a great weekend.
Love the picture. What fun to sit on the porch and listen to it rain...ah...life in Pleasantville!
ReplyDeleteNorth Carolina BBQ...yum! What a treat for your guys to have. I am sure your Northern friends thought it was quite novel...:)

Oh, life in the swing! How wonderful to know that my adorable Grandchildren are enjoying the out of doors instead of sitting in front of a television set! They are truly children of the outdoors whether relaxing in the swing, riding bikes and trikes, playing in the sandbox or on the backyard swing set or splashing in the pirate ship pool! What a wonderful way for the children to spend their childhood!!
