I'd love to hear from you!

  1. Where do you purchase Mr McGregor boots.

  2. I would like to know the type of paint and glue that was used. I think I can do this but worried about what to use.

  3. Hello. I am using the same Kohler sink in my new family bathroom. I love the faucets that you chose. The options that I was given by Kohler are a little too commercial looking for my taste. Could you please tell me where you purchased your two?

    1. Hello! The faucet was purchased from Chicago Faucets, I believe the number is 225-261 ABCP. When I purchased mine, they still had an option to choose different faucet handles- I don't think they do anymore but maybe you can find them. Good luck and hope you enjoy your sink as much as we love ours.

I stumbled upon your blog when searching for "homes with painted cedar siding" and am hoping that maybe you will be able to shed some light my way. I am at a loss of "what to do" and have had lots of advice....much of which is confusing. We have a lovely old home (134 yrs old) and it has so much potential to be beautiful. I can see it....I just don't know what the heck I am doing, nor does my husband. And well, everything is so costly. I would love to start a conversation with you about how to tackle this old house, what your experience has been and so forth. I guess my question that led me to your blog in the first place was I was pondering whether or not we should side and insulate the home for paint it and try and insulate in another way. It's very drafty, essentially un-insulated and the paint is peeling off of what I believe to be cedar clapboard siding. Perhaps we could start there...

  5. I have been reading your blog for a few months now. Really love the older blogs about your kids (my kids are 8 and 5 now). Anyway, I have seen your love for your RV, and when I saw this I wanted to forward. Pretty cute for a bird house.
