Sibling Gifts 2019
Every year, I post about what the children made for each other for Christmas. This year, I was sure things were going to change in that there was a lot more chatter about buying gifts rather than making them. They asked me several times if they had to make the gifts for each other or if they could buy them. Truth be told, I was a little sad that they might consider buying, but I've known that eventually that time would come. The reality is, ideas can get scarce, time can be hard to carve out and it's easier to buy! So it came as an even bigger surprise that they ended up making their gifts. I'll take it, even if it's just this last year!
Harris made Grace a Lavender Body Scrub and Grace made Harris a Styling Wax to try to tame his locks! Simple gifts but useful!

Mont Tremblant
Our time in Mont Tremblant was really, really good! The village was charming, the skiing fun, and we couldn't ask for better company!
It was particularly nice because the four teenagers were able to go off by themselves in the village and were even able to ski together a bit (both Will and Caroline are learning to snowboard and ski) by the end of the trip. We love seeing them together as they are each others oldest friends!
Watching these kids grow older together is such a privilege. We just love them.
The pedistrian village was super charming with lovely restaurants, a ski pond, stores and it was still decorated for Christmas!
We had a great time skiing, even though on our last day it was only 9 degrees! The snow on the trees was absolutely breathtaking and when the sun finally came out it was magical!
What a great way to start 2020!

A Good Start
Happy 2020 everyone! I've got a good feeling about this year and I'm excited about it. Our year has had a good start so far, with all of it having been spent with friends. We had a low key New Years celebration with the O's and then we left very early New Years Day to meet The Parsons for a very fun ski vacation in Canada! I sincerely hope that your year has also started off wonderfully well!
