We had a few nice days this week that really got me excited for the spring and the growing season. Those days were preceded by a snow day, which is so typical of March here. It's always up and down, wet and oh so muddy! We enjoyed a fire for the day, most likely one of our last ones.
I attended a panel discussion between some pretty serious names in the flower/creative industry and it was so lovely to be in such a gorgeous space and to be surrounded by flowers!
Bryce and I were lucky enough to join friends on their beautiful sailboat for a week in Panama! It was a week filled with snorkeling, delicious meals, good conversations and incredible weather.
Harris attended a dance at his school, a first in two years! He and his friends had to be coerced into going but I think they had a good time once there.
One of our chickens is laying pink eggs and I'm so delighted by it.
We celebrated my Mom's birthday!
I made a pie for Pi Day, on 3/14. It was Harris' idea to cut out the pi symbol for the top!
It's maple sugaring season and this year we added a little sugar shack. It's been an endeavor and I'll post about the whole thing when it's eventually complete!
All in all, it's starting to get busier on the farm, and I'm looking forward to that. The promise of warm, sunny days is in the air!
