This year our family is contributing bagged dinners to a local organization that provides for families in need. Once a month we will pack a meal for children who come to their evening tutoring program. For this months bagged meal I thought it would be fun to go with a pumpkin theme. In addition to orange juice boxes, orange colored chips (the packaging, not the chips) and a few candy pumpkins, I drew faces on Clementines. It was so quick and easy and I hope it makes someone laugh!

Do I count as the someone laughing?? Very Cute!
sooo cute! I wonder if the guys at work would laugh if I sent my husband to work with some of these in his lunch ;)
Nice you are helping put some food and joy into others lives this way. It takes so little to brighten lives that have so little.
I LOVE this! I'm totally snagging it for my daughter's lunch!
What did you use to draw on the oranges? I have tried a Sharpie and and "paint pen" -- neither worked well.
Karen- I used a sharpie! I figured that the children would be peeling off the skin so it was ok for them. I'm sorry that the sharpie isn't working for you. I wonder if the skin has some sort of coating on it? Sort of how they put wax on apples?

While researching a post on Hallowe'en-related food, I found your post on the adorable ghost pizza. It would be a perfect fit with my post, and I know CP readers would love it.
With your permission, I would like to link to your post, and also to include a photo. Specifically, I'm referring to the photo in this post: http://princessandthefrogblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Halloween
We would provide a link back to your site and full credit.

This is perfect! We are having a Halloween party in two days and I was trying to think of quick and easy fruit ideas. Thank you so much! :)
Too cute! I had a little trouble at first making the sharpie work. I wiped them a little with a towel to make sure they were dry and maybe to remove a little coating and it worked great after that! Great idea!
Love this! Goes great with our "Orange you glad Jesus loves you!" theme for my 2yr old preschool class!!!
Thank you for the 'cutie' of an idea (o:
