Santa Fe Stopover

After we left the Lincoln National Forest, we headed to Santa Fe for a quick stopover on our way to the Sand Dunes.  We literally only had an evening in the historic part of the city, known as the Plaza, but we managed to walk around and take in some sites while waiting for our names to come up for dinner (it was a long wait!).

We walked over to see the oldest church and home in America.

Also, we enjoyed looking at the architecture of Santa Fe.

The Loretto Chapel and the Cathedral were quite beautiful, and I wished that we could see the inside.

Also, how gorgeous are these Hollyhocks?
