Hello October!

Happy October!  This is such a glorious time of year isn't it?  The light is just right, the air is (hopefully) crisp and cool, and there are holidays (and a birthday for us) on the horizon.  We've already started to enjoy the season by decorating the house and partaking in a few seasonal activities.

Our firewood is stacked and ready to use on the porch.

By that same fire we are enjoying being wrapped in quilts, drinking cider and eating Grace made chocolate chip cookies.

New Halloween pajamas are a cozy way to usher in Halloween festivities.

The leaves in the backyard are starting to change.  I have a terrific view out of my bathroom window.

Saturday evening I wore boots for the first time and it felt just right!  How are you preparing for fall?
