Watermelon Pops

How cute are these watermelon pops?  I have to admit while I was making them I thought that they might not be worth the effort (three layers to freeze), but once I tasted one I was convinced!  They are very tasty and a light and summery treat!

I got the recipe out of a Women's Day magazine.  The original recipe calls for 2 tablespoons of corn syrup in the watermelon and honeydew mixture.  I left it out and added extra sugar instead.

  1. We could use one of those right now. Very yummy-looking. Those old magazines can be very interesting and have timeless ideas.

  2. That looks delightful! This reminded me of your ice cream post. We went out for dinner at an upscale southern restaurant and on the dessert menu were two delightful ice creams...1. boiled peanut and sorghum 2. sweet corn. Both were delightful - but you have to like boiled peanuts... which this southern girl surely does!
