Our weekend

We had a wonderful weekend-before-Christmas weekend. On Saturday we had our friends over for our annual Christmas breakfast. We look forward to this breakfast every year because it's a chance to slow down and enjoy good food and great friends.

Saturday evening we attended a live nativity at our friends church. It was a beautiful and timely reminder of why we celebrate Christmas.

Book-ending Saturday was an annual dinner with friends to celebrate the holidays and a lovely Christmas brunch (unfortunately, I didn't get pictures at either one!). Sandwiched in between all of that was a bit of Christmas crafting and even some relaxing.

I hope you too had a wonderful weekend!

  2. The live Nativity looks like just the perfect thing to see. We missed one here. Next year. . . .
We only did one out of three activities we had planned this past week; a Christmas concert at a nearby high school. We wimped out on the Woodland Park Holiday Variety Show. We were too settled in here after being gone all morning.
Breakfast with close friends - wonderful.
